What is Wall Wisher ?

Wall wisher is a free tech tool that quickly creates a website space.  http://www.wallwisher.com/

You can create a private or public web space where others are invited to join and add their "sticky notes" to your page.  Contributors do not need to be members of the site and all responses can be monitored by the account holder before they are posted for others to see.

How can I use Wallwisher to enhance critical thinking?

Whenever students are asked to make decisions and justify responses it helps to promote critical thinking skills.  Students must evaluate and use synthesis skills when they justify the selection of a favourite book or why they have used a specific reference for a research project.

Wall wisher is a great way to engage students to express their opinions in a cooperative way.

Here's a simple example to get you started... http://www.wallwisher.com/wall/trillium

Another way to use this would be to use it as a virtual note taking space where students could take "jot notes" about their topic of interest and then move them around into the right sequence before publishing their final report.
